Cher shields party-lover young boyfriend from hot girls?

Cher and her boyfriend, Alexander "A.E." Edwards, have a forty-year age gap. But that doesn't stop the former from partying with him hard despite her age because she reportedly wants to shield him from hot girls at those events.

"A.E. is a bad boy who parties quite hard," the mole squealed. "To be fair, Cher has a lot of stamina, but it's not a healthy situation for a woman of her age."

Insiders explain that the 77-year-old's thought process regarding the age difference is that she aims to match her guy's standard.

"She doesn't want to come off as an old stick-in-the-mud so she pushes herself to stay out all night," the bird chirped. "And it doesn't help that they're hanging out with his friends, not hers."

Sources told InTouch that the decision was also born from alleged protectiveness. 

"Cher doesn't want him partying without her because she knows there are always tons of hot women around," the tipster tattled. "That definitely makes her jealous."
