Jon Bon Jovi is reportedly eager to talk to his former bandmate, Richie Sambora.

For those unfamiliar, formed in 1983, the American rock band Bon Jovi now consists of singer Jon Bon Jovi, keyboardist David Bryan, drummer Tico Torres, guitarist Phil X, and bassist Hugh McDonald.

Nonetheless, the Bon Jovi frontman shared in his recent confessional with People Magazine that he is yet to ask Richie Sambora, the former guitarist, regarding his departure from the band in 2023.

Reflecting on Richie’s shocking exit, Jon said, “I’ve been waiting at the door for 10 years.”

“But just to be clear, there was nothing but love. There was never a fight. Ultimately being in a rock band is not a life sentence. He had to deal with his other issues,” he added about his dear pal.

In the newly released 4-episode long docuseries, Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story, Richie claimed about his exit that he has no regrets over this move.

He said, “I don’t regret leaving the situation, but I regret how I did it,” adding, “so I want to apologize fully right now to the fans, especially, and also to the guys because my feet and my spirit were just not letting me walk out the door,” after which he concluded.
