Former Real Housewives star Monica Garcia updates fans with heartbreaking Loss

Monica Garcia the former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star revealed that she has gone through a miscarriage.

The 39-year-old TV personality took to Instagram on Sunday and shared the heartbreaking news with a black and white photo of her holding hands with her boyfriend.

"One thing I promised myself when opening my life up to all of you was that I was going to do it completely unapologetically and authentically raw as possible,” she wrote in the caption. “I would show you my life in all aspects because that is what I agreed to do."

"Unfortunately, today I need to share a very heartbreaking aspect," she added. "'There is no heartbeat.' I don’t have many words and I’m still processing all of this myself."

Another photo in the carousel, in which Garcia can be seen lying on a hospital bed wearing a hospital gown as she and a medical professional are looking at a screen.

"As quickly as this happened, that’s how quickly things have changed," the mother of four wrote.

Moreover, Garcia also showed her love and care to other moms going through the same phase, she wrote, "I am sending so much love to everyone dealing with miscarriages, fertility issues, pregnancy problems if you have an angel baby, and everything in-between."

She concluded her post by thanking the hospital staff for taking care of her during this tough time, “I am so blessed to have all of you in my corner and I appreciate how beautiful you all have been to me about this baby. I love you and I’m so thankful for you.”

For those unversed, the breakout reality star announced her pregnancy on Nick Viall's podcast The Viall Files in January 2024.

Garcia was expecting her fifth child with her boyfriend whom she has not revealed yet. She also shares four daughters with her ex-husband Mike Fowler including Bri, 18, Jaidyn, 13, West, 7, and Kendall, 6.
