Taylor Swift's song about Matty Healy bugs him now: Insider

Taylor Swift’s new song is bugging Matty Healy as he’s not happy about the attention on their former relationship.

After ending her Joe Alwyn relationship of six years, the 34-year-old pop star briefly dated the 1975 frontman for two-three months.

They called off their brief flame in June 2023, and Matty began dating model Gabbriette Bechtel in September 2023, the same month Taylor got with Travis Kelce.

“Matty’s uncomfortable with the renewed attention on his relationship [with Taylor] — especially because he’s [with someone] new,” an insider told Us Weekly.

Taylor’s songs like The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived and I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) are said to be about Matty, however, he was still “relieved” about the album.

“Matty has struggled with life in the public eye, and he’s been doing really well, but the last thing that he needs is for every Swiftie in the world to think he’s a villain,” another source had told the outlet when the album came out.

His aunt Debbie Dedes also told Daily Mail that he was not taken aback by Taylor’s aim at him.

“He will not be surprised by the song. Him and her know what went on. I don't think it will come as a shock to him at all,” she said, adding that the Fortnight hitmaker is known for writing songs about her ex.
