King Charles and Queen Camilla on Monday attended Chelsea Flower Show with other members of the royal family.

The monarch and his wife were filmed arriving at the flower show in London. The king was  carrying a traditional country fair walking stick as he arrived at the show.

A statement issued by the royal family earlier in the day said, "The King and Queen, joined by Members of the Royal Family, will visit The RHS Chelsea Flower Show."

It said, "Established in 1913, on the grounds of Royal Hospital Chelsea in London, the Show has become one of the world’s greatest showcases for horticultural excellence, attracting visitors and exhibitors from across the globe."

The  statement was accompanied by multiple photos of Queen Elizabeth, Charles, Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton that were taken during their past visits to the flower show.

Although it did not mention the names of the family members, reports said that the Duke of Edinburgh and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester  would be joining the monarch and the queen.

The statement came an hour after Meghan Markle took to Instagram to  mark her 7th wedding anniversary with Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex made sure that the Instagram photo of her picture board did not display a single picture of the royal family member.

Even her wedding day photo seemed to be selected with the thought that it did not show any royal face.

The single wedding picture on the board featured only Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are celebrating their wedding anniversary days after the Duke of Sussex extended an olive branch to his family in the UK.

He, however, did not refrain from criticizing his father and other members of the royal family while expressing his desire for peace during his interview with the BBC earlier this month.

While the royal family's latest outing was already scheduled, the joint appearance of King Charles and Queen Camilla with other members may be seen as some kind of a message to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Such moves often become subject of online discussions, with royal experts sharing their own interpretations.
