In 2018, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a hit tour involving countries from Australia to New Zealand.
During the tour, the Suits actress announced her pregnancy and the press had a glowing reviews about the pair.
But behind the picture perfect tour, tensions were simmering and cracks were becoming hard to hide between the Sussexxes and the royal aides.
Christopher Andersen, a well-known American journalist, revealed, “Several aides complained that the duchess occasionally snapped at them and that the once-easygoing Harry was scrambling to make her happy."
He continued, Just before delivering her Invictus speech, Meghan was reportedly giving orders to her hairdressers while, at the same time, someone was ironing the bottom of her dress.”
While Royal correspondent Duncan Larcombe also told him, “All of Harry's staff have always thought he was fantastic. But the two of them together are high maintenance.”
However, despite this, the quarrels were papered over by the perception that the tour was successful.
Later, Christopher alleged that the royal pair faced an "avalanche of stories leaked to the press for the sole purpose of discrediting Meghan," claiming that the source of the leaks had come from Kensington Palace.
By 2020, the matter came to a head when Harry and Meghan decided to part ways with their royal duties and moved to the US, which is known as 'Megxit.'
