Brian Wilson received massive amounts of love for his contributions to music.
KISS legends Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons deemed The Beach Boys co-founder as a "genius" and a "visionary."
Taking to their official X, formerly Twitter, Paul and Gene wrote, “Sadly, Brian Wilson has passed away. Songwriter, visionary. Thank you for a lifetime of wonderful melodies that spanned decades. I’m going to spend the day listening to the Beach Boys and reminiscing.”
The Beatles icons, Sir Ringo Starr and Sir Paul McCartney also remembered Brian Wilson as an artist who was “achingly special.”
Sharing a photo of Brian, Ringo wrote on his Instagram, "God bless Brian Wilson. Peace and love to all his family.”
While Sir Paul McCartney called The Beach Boys star as someone who "had that mysterious sense of musical genius that made his songs so achingly special. I loved him, and was privileged to be around his bright shining light for a little while.”
"The notes he heard in his head and passed to us were simple and brilliant at the same time. How we will continue without Brian Wilson, God Only Knows. Thank you, Brian,” he added.
Rolling Stones guitarist, Keith Richards simply wrote "Rest in Peace!" while Ronnie Wood claimed his "world is in mourning,” noting that Sly Stone and Brian Wilson both died this week.
