Tom Cruise is refusing to board the Ozempic bandwagon.
Cruise reportedly said that the medication, which has helped countless celebrities slim down, isn’t for him, and he believes in doing the work.
"Ozempic isn’t for me," the Mission: Impossible star told a source, per Radar Online. "I believe in hard work. You can’t cheat your way to greatness — or to a real connection with someone."
Per the publication, the Top Gun star is doing all he can to slim down and maintain an impressive physique to keep up with his younger girlfriend, Ana de Armas, 37.
"Tom has been going all out to land Ana, and he thinks wiping out his man mammaries is one of the ways to do it," an insider claimed.
"He’s trying to impress her nonstop, and he knows being in shape and looking younger than his years is crucial," noted the tipster.
This isn’t surprising as Cruise has been a long-time critic of relying on pharmaceuticals. In 2005, he spoke against the use of antidepressants.
“All (antidepressants) do is mask the problem. You’re not getting to the reason why,” he argued in the Today interview.
He added, "If you start talking about chemical imbalance, you have to evaluate and read the research papers on how they came up with these theories of chemical imbalance in the brain. There is no science behind it."
Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas were first linked in February this year when they had a dinner on the day before Valentines Day.
