Prince William 'devastated' over rift with brother Harry?

Prince William is said to be "devastated" over his rift with brother Prince Harry, a royal insider has claimed amid reports Kate Middleton has reached out to the duke.

This has been disclosed by the Radar Online, citing the royal sources days after Prince William’s remarks that not all families want to spend time together that has been seen as a thinly veiled reference to his fractured relationship with Harry.

The report further says at the June 4 event, the Prince of Wales joke may have drawn chuckles from the troops – but for many close to the royal family, it felt like the tip of the iceberg of his "true pain."

The source tells the outlet, "William is just trying to laugh through his pain – he would love a reunion with Harry."

The fresh claims came amid reports Princess of Wales Kate Middleton has reached out to her brother-in-law yet again over King Charles request.

According to a report by the Closer, King Charles has urged the Princess of Wales to reach out to his estranged son Harry and sort things out for him.

The insider told the outlet, “It breaks Charles’ heart that he hasn’t been able to build a relationship with Archie and Lilibet – he’s already missed so many milestones that he can never get back.

“The hope is that Harry will stop being so hardheaded and bring the kids over to spend time with their grandfather but, so far, he hasn’t made any moves towards that – so Kate is scrambling to find some sort of solution.”
