JoJo Siwa just decided to cancel her appearance at a Pride festival in Chicago.

The Dance Moms alum was set to take the stage of the Back Lot Bash music festoval which was set to align with Chicago’s Pride weekend.

Siwa herself is yet to release any statement to address her disappointed fans but the show’s organizers deemed a "scheduling conflict" the reason for her being a no-show.

This cancellation comes after the former child star opened up about how she felt pressured by the LGBTQ community as well as past partners to define herself as a lesbian.

"When I came out at 17, I said, 'I'm pansexual,' because I don't care," she told the Daily Mail.

Siwa continued, "But then I kind of boxed myself in and I said, 'I'm a lesbian.' And I think I did that because of pressure.

"Where did that pressure come from? In a weird way, I think it came a little bit from inside the community at times. From people I know, from partners I've had,” The Angry Birds Movie 2 talent further mentioned.

Currently, the 22-year-old is in a relationship with her Celebrity Bog Brother cast-mate, Chris Hughes, with the latter being a British TV personality who shot to stardom on Love Island and the fist man JoJo Siwa has publicly dated since coming out in 2021.
