Rita Ora called out for 'blatant lies' in 'cringe' video

Rita Ora is being roasted online for a claim she made this week.

The singer, who released her latest song Heat earlier this month, posted a video of herself from inside a plane this week.

The video showed Rita wearing a face mask at the start of the video and then removing it to share her reaction.

Rita, who was wearing chunky headphones herself then lip-synced to Rihanna, singing, "Uh oh! Boner alert!"

The text on the video read, "Me: Hearing heat playing out of the person next to me's headphones."

She captioned the video, "He's definitely got good taste," along with a tongue emoji, posted some days ago.

However, fans had a hard time believing her.

"Out of all the things that have never happened, this has never happened the most," commented one fan while another wrote, "Girl that 100% did not happen."

A third viewer wrote, "You have a lovely imagination."

Others pointed out headphones she was wearing herself. "You heard it with your headphones on??" Another said: "She must have great hearing to be able to hear music from someone else's headphones while wearing headphones herself."

Another comment read, "Hey, let's be nice. Her headphones likely disconnected and she didn't understand the song was playing from her phone."

The post was followed-up by two other videos from the flight, including one where she expressed gratitude to her supporters and teased it's "just the beginning".

"Flights make me emotional and grateful," she wrote over footage of herself looking teary-eyed.

In the caption, Rita added, "So grateful for all I have thank you to all the lovely people in my life and the ones who have supported me from the start - it's just the beginning."

In the third video, the MTV Video Music Award winner shared an "advice" for her fans while putting up her middle finger to the camera as she smiled.

She added in the caption, "Bit of advice for anyone who doesn't match your energy or bring good vibes - protect your ORA."

"POV: nobody. Me: the F's I give," she wrote over the clip.
