Regina Hall has shared her thoughts on infamous Titanic debate.
For those unaware, there has been a controversy surrounding the floating piece of debris whether it could have supported the weight of brother lovers Rose and Jack.
Now, Regina weighs in on the infamous debate during her conversation with People Magazine.
Speaking about the characters Rose and Jack, played by Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio in the 1997 movie, Regina hilariously said, “She got up there and got comfortable enough to conk out. She woke up and was like, 'Damn, Jack!' It wasn't enough. She was sleeping so hard her voice couldn't wake up. Jack was gone!”
“I was like, 'Rose, you were still in the middle of chaos!' I feel like if she was going to be on the door, at the very least, she should have stayed awake! She could have even lied on top of Jack and let him be on the door!” the actress added.
It is worth mentioning that the debate has plagued Leonardo and Kate since the film’s release.
In 2024, Kate hilariously said that Leonardo has probably gotten PTSD from being asked about the moment so many times, saying, “I thought, 'He's busting out the Titanic question and next he's gonna ask me about the door.' I absolutely knew it.”
However, Titanic director James Cameron said that Jack “needed to die” for the sake of story in 2022.
Yet, Regina Hall believes Rose could’ve saved Jack, saying, “I know Rose loved him, and she was going to choose him even without the money.”
“I don't know if Rose was exhausted or being passive-aggressive, but Rose didn't try hard enough,” she added.
