Princess of Wales Kate Middleton is apparently against ‘gruesome’ royal tradition her eldest son Prince George is expected to be ‘initiated’ into this summer.

According to a report by the Hello magazine, Prince George is all set to follow in Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry's footsteps in major centuries-old royal tradition.

The publication reported at 11 years old, the first child of the Prince and Princess of Wales might be considered ready to partake in quite a gruesome activity that has been performed by royal families and aristocrats for centuries: stag-hunting.

This has been claimed by royal expert Duncan Larcombe, who wrote the 2017 book Prince Harry: The Inside Story.

Prince William, Kate Middleton and their children are set to spend time at the Scottish retreat.

Now, the Marie Claire has quoted Larcombe as saying, "Years ago, Kate joined the royals on a shoot.”

Another royal expert Tom Quinn has revealed that "Charles's daughter in-law, Catherine, Princess of Wales, has put her foot down and insisted there will be no blooding for her children."

It was also previously reported that the future queen had forbidden her three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—from taking part in the royal tradition of "blooding."
