It’s no secret that Prince William and Prince Harry are not on speaking terms, having them under the same roof would be messy to say the least.
Family events, such as funerals, are also awkward when both of them have to attend. This is also one of key reasons why Peter Phillips only chose to invite one of the brothers to his wedding to avoid any kind of drama.
However, professionally, things can be a little harder to manoeuvre, especially when they William and Harry both have their heart set on it.
While the feuding brothers may clash on many things, there is one thing they share in common: their unconditional love for mum Princess Diana. Both of them honour their late mother in their own way and carry on her legacy.
Among other things, William has his homewards programme, while Harry works with HALO trust literally following in the footsteps of his mum. Although, Diana Award is the one charity that they both have supported and play an important role in.
The chief executive of the only organisation shared her insight on what it is like to have William and Harry as “active supporters” for the Diana Awards, which sounds complicated.
Tessy Ojo, who runs the Diana Award, which honours inspirational young people, but the brothers haven’t attended any event together since Harry and Meghan quit royal duties six years ago.
“It is a privilege to still have both of them involved,” Tessy Ojo, the charity boss revealed.
“I spoke to Prince William last Wednesday at the event in Shoreditch, and I saw Prince Harry a few weeks ago. I’m not going to say where I saw him.”
The Diana Award was established in 199 to promote the late Princess’ belief in the positive power of young people. Harry and William remain royal patrons and presenters since its inception.
While William made an appearance last week, Harry last attended a panel discussion put on by The Diana Award at Service Now in central London during his four-day visit to the UK in September 2025.
It is a compromise that both William and Harry have come to a compromise on the matter as they both are unwilling to leave their position. It is uncertain if the two would ever make a joint appearance, but if it came to Diana, they might be forced into making an exception.
