Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis delighted royal fans with their attendance at the annual Trooping the Colour event on Saturday, as they rode in carriage along with their mother Princess Kate.

The Princess of Wales later joined King Charles and Queen Camilla to watch the remaining presentation after the royal cavalcade at reached the Horse Guards Parade.

Prince William, Princess Anne and Prince Edward had been riding horseback in the parade. To watch the presentation, the Wales children had joined Duchess Sophie to watch from the window.

Heartwarming moments were captured as Great-Aunt Sophie watched over the three Wales children and seen giving what appeared to be explainers about the event.

This is not the first time the Duchess of Edinburgh was seen caring for the William and Kate’s children.

During previous Trooping the Colour events, Sophie stood with Charlotte and Louis and was spotted answering questions when the children gestured towards something in the proceedings.

In one famous moment from the Coronation of King Charles, Sophie had bent down to a smiling Charlotte to point her to something.

Sophie already shares a good relation with Prince William and Princess Kate. The Duchess has reportedly been a shoulder to lean on for Catherine when he was going through her cancer journey.

Hence, it comes as no surprise that Sophie seems to have a fondness for George, Charlotte and Louis.
