King Charles invites William, Anne, Edward for key talks amid Harry return

King Charles made a big move away from the spotlight in times when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s UK return talks ruled the media.

The monarch is in Scotland for his annual visit, known as Royal Week. During this trip, he and senior royals celebrate Scottish culture, community and achievements. The King and Queen Camilla also took part in different engagements in the capital.

Now, The Daily Mail confirmed that King Charles held a private dinner for the senior members of his team.

At the historic Palace of Holyroodhouse, Prince William, Princess Anne and the Duke of Edinburgh enjoyed a dinner and a night's stay with the monarch.

No details about the agenda of their meeting have been released, as Private gatherings are not recorded on the Court Circular.

But, it has been said that the key members of the royal family sat down together days before Prince Harry’s UK arrival with Meghan Markle and their two kids, Archie and Lilibet.

There are already reported tensions behind the Palace walls over King Charles’ decision to offer a royal stay to the Sussexes.

Senior royal aides have doubts over the intentions of Harry and Meghan.
