Manchester United are set to make the next big move to sign former Hearts boss Eva Olid as their new head coach.
Olid will replace Marc Skinner, who exited on Monday, August 3.
Olid is expected to join the team today, Wednesday, August 5, as the Man Utd has finalised the deal, according to a report that appeared on BBC Sports.
The move is aiming at up lifting the Women’s Super League club with a focus on developing a pool of indigenous young players.
The Spaniard led Hearts to end their first title drought of Scottish Women’s Premier League last season.
She has been at the helm of affairs of Heatts for five years and tool them to the 2024 Scottish Cup final but lost to Rangers.
The Red Devils closed the last season of the Women’s Super League with fourth position. Man Utd will open their campaign for the new season against free-budget London City Lionesses on September 4.
