Prince Harry had plenty of fun at Scotty’s Summer Festival and he could hardly stop talking about his experience.
The Duke of Sussex, who serves as a Global Ambassador for Scotty’s, joined the military bereavement charity’s annual summer gathering.
He spent time with children, young people and families who have been affected by military-related bereavement.
Harry threw himself into the festivities. Reflecting on the day, the Duke joked that he had just been hit in the head by a water balloon after already being “pelted three times” in the stomach, adding that he was thoroughly enjoying himself.
“We went from goat yoga to many different things and I haven’t seen a single kid not smiling,” he said in the video on Instagram.
He also said, finding a reason to laugh after making it through a difficult day can feel like “the best medicine”.
Scotty’s was founded by Army widow Nikki Scott in memory of her husband, Corporal Lee Scott, and is dedicated to supporting bereaved military children and young people.
