Prince William and Princess Catherine are planning a major comeback of a grand scale, on a stage that has not seen them together for nearly four years.

The Prince and Princess of Wales have been supportive of each other during royal duties but also act as a pillar for the other’s individual endeavours.

It has been a particularly rough phase for the couple as Catherine recovered from her cancer battle, missing out on major events since early 2024. She made her proper return this year, and even took on a solo international trip to Italy for her Early Years initiative.

Now, she is ready to support William for Earthshot Prize, a passion project the future King has been working on since the past five years. According to Russell Myers, this marks a ‘huge milestone’ for the couple make their first international tour in years.

The last visit had been to the Carribbean and it was “fraught with controversy”.

“Following her successful return to international duties this year, which included her visit to Reggio Emilia in Italy for her early years research, Catherine is very much looking forward to attending the Earthshot Awards in India alongside her husband,” Russell told The Mirror.

“The fact that she’s planning to go to India is such a huge milestone, not only for her, but for the couple together. It will be almost four years since they travelled to Boston together to attend the Earthshot Awards.”

He explained that William and Kate’s marriage is a source of support for each other not only as partners but also in their roles as working royals and parents of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis: “a secret to their marriage”.
