NBA YoungBoy is packing up for South Korea: Here's what you need to know

Rapper NBA YoungBoy has revealed the reason behind his move from the U.S. for South Korea.

NBA YoungBoy, in a recent media appearance with comedian Funny Marco as part of the latter’s Open Thoughts web series, opened up on his move.

In the viral drop on YouTube, Marco at the very beginning of the interview hinted that it is set in South Korea.

YoungBoy, a Baton Rouge, Louisiana, native born as Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, admitted that it was his first time travelling to South Korea.

When Marco asked what he discovered different about Korea, YoungBoy didn’t hide his thoughts, saying he liked the country because it is “out of the way".

Then added context and said, "I get the energy too. It’s very safe here and very clean.”

NBA YoungBoy, known as “YB” and loads of other pseudonyms, is credited with 34 albums charted in the Billboard 200, the most by any rapper in history.

When the convo shifted to if he still has something left in the tank, YB dropped major reveal of his career, saying, “I’ll go on tour one more time throughout my whole life and that’s it.”

Then Marco popped the question: Does YB ever see himself moving back to the United States?

The Slime Belief rapper’s blunt reply has what sparked buzz online, saying, Never in life.”

YoungBoy then went on to explain his reason, saying, “I don’t have a problem with being away, it’s nothing new for me.

“The most important thing is probably my kids, but that’s what they have planes for.”

YoungBoy, 26, who has a fiercely loyal fanbase, is the father of 11 children with eight different women.
