Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's reaction to a shocking announcement came to light after back-to-back scandalous headlines.
The former Duke of York is said to be relieved after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's confirmed their historic UK return.
The couple with their kids, Archie and Lilibet, will be returning to the UK for an extended period.
Revealing Andrew's response to the news, an insider told Radar, "Andrew is under no illusion about the seriousness of his own circumstances, but Harry and Meghan returning has completely transformed the royal news agenda.
"Suddenly everyone is talking about where the Sussexes will live, their relationship with the King and what happens with William.
"From Andrew's perspective, having somebody else at the centre of the royal storm inevitably provides some relief."
Beatrice and Eugenie's father has seemingly taken a sigh of relief as the Palace is now dealing with the Sussexes matter, which gives less attention to matters related to Andrew and his links to Epstein.
"He would certainly rather the headlines were about Harry and Meghan than another examination of his own problems," the source said.
