Royal Family has taken immediate measures regarding official engagements as the King's health declines seriously.
It has been reported that King Harald V of Norway is in an "extremely serious condition," according to the Norwegian Palace.
The family members have gathered around his bedside at Oslo University Hospital during these difficult times, and royal engagements have also been cancelled.
King's wife, Queen Sonja, and his son, Crown Prince Haakon, have put a hold on their royal duties and gone to the hospital to stay with the ailing royal.
King Harald V of Norway has been in the hospital for over a week receiving treatment for a rare blood condition, haemolytic anaemia.
He is Europe's oldest head of state who has been on the throne since 1991.
His son, Crown Prince Haakon, has been serving as regent while his father is battling a serious health condition.
In a statement, Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre said, "The whole nation is with us as we send warm thoughts to the king and the rest of the royal family."
