Prince Harry, Meghan Markle in a fix as King Charles makes final decision

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are forced to rely on streaming deals as their living expenses reached millions of pounds, with King Charles indicating no financial support.

The Sussexes, who have currently returned to the UK, face annual costs running into millions of pounds.

The British monarch does not appear to financially support Harry and Meghan amid their growing expenses in the country due to round-the-clock private security, children's school fees and private jet travel.

Meghan and Harry's UK return also coincides with a potential £34.5million legal bill stemming from their failed privacy case against the publisher of the Daily Mail, with an estimated £18million shortfall beyond their insurance coverage.

The King has already indicated there will be no money for Harry on his return, as he is no longer a working royal and has separate commercial interests.

The current situation forces the couple to rely on their entertainment deals, paid public appearances and Meghan's lifestyle brand.

The family of five is expected to settle in the Cotswolds, while the couple will keep their nine-bedroom Montecito mansion in California, where annual costs are estimated at up to $600,000 (£443,000), comprising mortgage payments of roughly $450,792 (£332,000) and a tax bill of approximately $149,668 (£110,000).

Their reported £6.3million property in Portugal's Costa Terra resort, purchased in 2023, will also be retained. The cost of travel between their three homes will add to their expenses.
