Prince Harry, Meghan to honour tradition for King Charles ahead of key visit

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would be expected to follow one rule from back when they were royals, as King Charles ‘welcomes’ them back.

Just as Harry and Meghan landed back in Britain, Buckingham Palace announced that the King and Queen will be heading to an autumn tour for the Caribbean.

It was suggested that the tour had been “deliberately” planned as such to keep focus on the royals rather than family drama. There were already fears over the Duke and Duchess “overshadowing” the work of royals, especially after they finally gained some momentum after a slew of setbacks.

And even though, the Sussexes claim they have no interest in being working royals, royal expert shared that the couple would be expected to honour somethings.

“The announcement of the Autumn tour reinforces the fact that the royal road show will roll on regardless, ignoring all the surrounding noise,” Jennie Bond told The Mirror.

“Hopefully Harry and Meghan will honour the tradition of keeping a low profile while the King and Queen are carrying out their duties in the Caribbean and Guyana,” she continued.

“It is an important visit, and CHOGM, the meeting of the Commonwealth leaders, is an example of how different cultures can find common ground. Perhaps the royals will find a way to follow suit!”

Bond described as one of the “biggest challenges” that the working royals will face: “the very real prospect of their work being overshadowed by anything the Sussexes do”.

It is a distraction and Charles and William will not be happy to see this especially as Invictus Games will be taking place. Hence, it is understood that there would be prior communication as to not have any clashes.
