Prince Archie and Earl Spencer united by familiar piece of Dianas family estate

Earl Charles Spencer has taken followers from dawn to dusk at Althorp on Saturday.

The younger brother of the late Princess Diana shared two atmospheric images from the Northamptonshire estate on X, documenting both the morning and evening light across the historic grounds.

“Early morning @althorphouse,” Spencer wrote alongside the first picture, while the second was captioned, “Evening light in the wilderness, in Althorp’s gardens.”

But it was the landscape in the photographs that prompted fans to make a connection with another member of the family.

The grassy setting bears a resemblance to the spot featured in a photograph of Prince Archie shared by Meghan Markle on Instagram on July 23.

The young prince was pictured walking through the long grass which Meghan described as the family’s “summer holiday.”

Fans were quick to point out the similarities between the two scenes, with Spencer’s latest photographs bringing back memories of the Sussexes’ visit to the estate last month.

Althorp has been the Spencer family’s ancestral home for generations and is also where Princess Diana was laid to rest following her death in 1997.

They are now eager to see Diana’s family reunited with the Spencers and to see new pictures from their time together.
