WWE stars Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes take centre stage in new 'Street Fighter' trailer

Wrestling fans got a fresh glimpse at WWE sensations Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes in the latest drop of Street Fighter trailer on September 1, 2026.

Paramount released the second full-length trailer of Street Fighter, featuring WWE stars along with New Japan Pro Wrestling icon Hirooki Goto.

The trailer showcases Rhodes as Guile, who appears throughout the buzzworthy trailer.

The trailer also includes brief fighting scenes featuring Reigns’ Akuma and Goto’s E. Honda.

The cast also includes Jason Momoa (Blanka), David Dastmalchian (M. Bison) and 50 Cent (Balrog).

The trailer features the lead protagonists of the movie: Andrew Koji and Noah Centineo, who take on the roles of Ryu and Ken Masters.

The film’s official synopsis released on its official portal reads: “Set in 1993, estranged Street Fighters Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) are thrown back into combat when the mysterious Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament: a brutal clash of fists, fate, and fury.

"But behind this battle royale lies a deadly conspiracy that forces them to face off against each other and the demons of their past. And if they don’t, it’s GAME OVER!”

The film is based on Capcom’s classic Japanese video game franchise, Street Fighter, directed by Kitao Sakurai.

Street Fighter is a remake of the franchise's two earlier film adaptations, which debuted in 1994 and 2009.

Street Fighter is set to bring back the nostalgia of arcade-style fighting to the big screen with Hadoukens, roundhouses, and all the characters millennials and Gen Z grew up with.

The film is set to hit U.S. theatres on October 16, 2026.
