Thomas Massie slams White House Arcade games: ‘Are we living in Idiocracy?'
White House appears to have no plans to put the joystick away, with its arcade page already teasing another game as 'coming soon'

Republican Representative Thomas Massie has questioned the White House after the Trump administration launched a collection of retro-style video games promoting the president’s policies.
“Are we living in one of the deleted scenes in Idiocracy?” Massie wrote on X in response to the White House’s announcement.
The White House launched the online arcade Thursday with five games based on some of President Donald Trump’s biggest policy priorities.
One of them, called “Build the Wall,” is a Tetris-style game where players stack blocks while being told to “protect the border from the coming horde.”
Another game, “Rio Run,” takes the idea of Snake and puts it along the Rio Grande. Players control a character resembling Trump border czar Tom Homan and collect people crossing the border.
There is also “Trump Savings Tycoon,” where players collect money to fill children’s Trump Accounts, while “Supply Line” asks players to sort school lunch items based on the administration’s “Make America Healthy Again” push.
The fifth game, “Flappy Bill,” is a version of Flappy Bird in which players guide a bald eagle through Washington, DC.
The White House promoted the games with the message: “Build the wall. Deport. Fill a Trump Account.”
The unusual move quickly drew reactions online, with critics questioning why the official government website was being used to turn political policies into arcade games.
However, the White House has defended the idea, saying the administration wants to present Trump’s accomplishments in a way that connects with Americans.
