Princess Charlene gives another sweet insight into life with her twins

The Princess of Monaco joined her husband, Prince Albert, and their nine-year-old twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, for a visit to the historic village of Les Baux-de-Provence.

Despite the formal nature of the engagement, the mother-of-two was seen keeping her daughter close, wrapping an arm around Gabriella as the family greeted those gathered to welcome them. 

Charlene was also pictured linking arms with Jacques and affectionately tousling her son's hair.

Jacques, who is heir to the Monegasque throne and holds the title Marquis of Baux, was presented with the keys to the town during the visit. 

It was a moment with a special family connection, as Prince Albert took part in the same ceremony more than four decades ago in 1982.

The Monaco royals were welcomed by the town's mayor, Anne Poniatowski, along with local residents and royal fans before touring some of Les Baux-de-Provence's best-known landmarks, including Prince Rainier III Square and the Church of St Vincent.

The family also made a coordinated appearance for the occasion.

Although the Princess and Albert often keep their children away from the spotlight, Charlene has occasionally delighted royal followers with family photographs and special moments involving Jacques and Gabriella.
