King Charles made a first public appearance after a shocking announcement left Prince Harry 'stunned.'
The monarch returned to royal duty in Aberdeenshire after a statement that delivered sad news to his youngest son.
Buckingham Palace shared, "The King has officially opened the newly extended Braemar Mountain Rescue Centre in Aberdeenshire.
"As Patron of the Braemar Mountain Rescue Association, The King met volunteers to hear about their vital work supporting those in need across Scotland’s mountains, as well as representatives involved in the design and construction of the new facilities.
"The expansion includes enhanced training areas, additional storage for rescue equipment and vehicles, and a new base for @policescotlandofficial.
"The visit took place 30 years after Prince Philip, The Late Duke of Edinburgh, unveiled the centre’s previous major refurbishment."
King Charles' new appearance coincided with Uganda's military chief announcing their withdrawal from Harry's Invictus Games due to a recently reignited rift between the Sussexes and the royal family.
