Prince Harry reunites with Invictus community at landmark London event

Prince Harry appears set for a busy few weeks centred around one of the causes closest to his heart, with a series of Invictus and charity engagements reportedly lined up for September.

According to a post shared on X, the Duke of Sussex recently joined members of the Invictus community in London for the inaugural Invictus Horizons event, held at The Gherkin.

Speaking at the event, he is said to have described Invictus as something that “catalyses change”, pointing to the importance of courage, recovery, opportunity and community.

The gathering also reportedly welcomed Rob Owen OBE as the Invictus Foundation’s new chief executive, alongside news of a major multi-year partnership as the organisation continues expanding its work with wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans.

Harry’s reported London appearance comes as his September diary begins to fill with further Invictus commitments.

The Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner & Awards is listed for 17 September, followed by the launch of INSPIRE, a new educational programme from the organisation.

Later in the month, Harry is also expected to attend the WellChild Awards on 21 September in his long-standing role as the charity’s Patron.

If the reported schedule goes ahead, it would give Harry several opportunities to reconnect with communities and organisations that have remained central to his public work since stepping away from frontline royal duties.
