Jeremy Clarkson opened up about one of the hardest moments of his cancer journey after his partner Lisa Hogan shared what happened when she filmed him in hospital.

The formerTop Gear star was 66 when he found out that he has aggressive prostate cancer.

At first, Jeremy did not want people to see what he was going through.

When Lisa was filming him in hospital, he looked at her and said, “Please don't”.

Jeremy later decided to share his cancer story on Clarkson’s Farm. The star’s wife said producer Andy Wilman helped him make that choice because they hoped his story could help other people.

It seems that decision really did help as Lisa shared that Prostate Cancer UK got almost 30,000 people visit its website in one day after the show was released.

Jeremy is now in remission after having HIFU treatment, which destroys cancer cells with sound waves.

Lisa, however, also said talking to friends who had gone through cancer helped Jeremy.

At first, he did not want to talk about it but then he later found comfort in those conversations.

Doctors have also told him to eat better but Jeremy still wants to enjoy life. He said, “But the truth is, there has to be some joy in life as well.”
