Team USA's stunning win at the FIBA Women’s World Cup for the record fifth time has the basketball world buzzing.

Team USA has remained unbeaten throughout their title run and ended their FIBA World Cup campaign on a 6-match winning streak.

Following the big win, Kevin Durant took to his Instagram and shared a six-word reaction that perfectly sums up Team USA’s triumph.

“This is just what we do,” the Rockets’ superstar Kevin Durant proudly shared on his Instagram Story.

The world champion included a roster of established WNBA stars such as Jackie Young, Kahleach Copper, and Chelsea Gray, along with Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers and Angel Reese.

Although all played their role in ensuring Team USA reached the final, it was the captain of the ship that stole the show in the final.

Breanna Stewart was the top scorer in the gold medal game.

Stewart finished as the highest scorer in the gold medal game with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists while attempting 7-of-10 from the field.

She wrapped the tournament up, averaging 12.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists while shooting 56.8% from the floor.

Steward earned a third overall FIBA World Cup MVP awards. She had won previously in 2018 and at the U-19 FIBA World Cup MVP in 2013.

Durant has been a staunch supporter of basketball players who opt to represent the national side in major global competitions.

He had represented the U.S. at four Olympics, winning gold each time, as well as a gold medal at the 2010 FIBA World Cup in Turkey.
