The Prince of Wales may or may not have intended it, but the future king seemed to have immortalised a special link to his estranged brother despite ongoing tensions.
King Charles’s two sons have not been in communication in nearly four years and it is believed that nothing has changed even as the Duke of Sussex moved back to Britain at the end of August with his family.
However, some experts have shared hope that the brothers could come together while others have shown scepticism. But as Prince Harry turned 42 on Tuesday, Prince William emerged in Princetown for a meaningful engagement.
During the activity to “keeping heritage craft alive on Dartmoor”, William inked in a date, September 15, 2026.
“Meeting the team behind Princetown Press at Gather & Moor. The new visitor centre is at the heart of the community where local artists, makers and craftspeople have a new space to showcase their work,” the description for the video footage read, as Harry’s birthday came into focus.
It is understood that there was no communication between the royals as Harry celebrated his birthday on Tuesday. Moreover, there was also no official shout-out from Buckingham Palace like Harry got on his 40th.
Since Harry is a non-working royal, he would only get a wish on his milestone birthday, which happen to be multiple of fives. Although, this is the closest nod that Harry could have gotten from the royals in this current tense atmosphere.
