Prince William and Princess Catherine have resumed their royal duties nearly two weeks ago and there is already a short break in the works for the couple.
Prince George has just been enrolled at Eton, meanwhile, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have also assimilated into their new schedules as term begins at Lambrook. And William and Kate have taken ont their public facing duties.
Although, the start of the royal work week had been stressful, beginning with King Charles’s letter confirming the “private citizen” status for Harry and Meghan. The move has somehow backfired, garnering more attention than expected.
There is back and forth between the Palace and the Sussexes, and keen eye on how the Prince and Princess of Wales react to the situation. They have so far maintained their silence but behind the scenes, the situation has been tense.
Sources reveal that the couple plans on celebrating a milestone privately and take a “much-needed” break.
William and Kate, don’t usually celebrate the anniversary of their first meeting, but insiders told New Idea hears they’re making an exception this year.
“They’ve been so hands-on over the summer school holidays; they really need some couples’ time,” the insider said.
“Neither of them can believe it’s been 25 years – they still feel the same excitement about each other as they did back then, but it’s been fun to revisit those awkward moments,” they continued.
“They’ll probably sneak away to a quiet cottage somewhere.”
It is unclear if Kensington Palace will make a statement on the trip.
