Prince William’s team shares good news about mission: ‘big story to tell’

Prince William’s team is picking up the pace as Prince Harry’s Invictus Games grows in momentum in the UK.

And it seems that King Charles’s two son, who have been estranged for years, could be going to head-to-head with their flagship projects for making the most impact, despite being completely in different leagues.

The Prince of Wales, who is the founder of the Earthshot Prize, has been working to find solutions to alleviate the planet of his ongoing issues. With its next iteration of awards set to be held in India, the organisation made an exciting announcement.

“15 groundbreaking Finalists,” it stated. “5 ambitous Earthshots, 1 big story to tell...”

They added, “The wait is almost over. Our 2026 Earthshot Prize Finalists will be revealed at 11:00 BST on 18 September.”

The timing of the announcement is notable as Harry would be appearing for the inaugural Invictus Spirit Awards in London on September 17. Moreover, just few days later he would be in London for WellChild Awards on September 21.

Harry’s Invictus Games is a global sporting event for wounded and sick veterans from around the world, offering a platform to share the price that the humans pay for wars.

Even though both projects are different, the feud between the two brothers could impact the coverage of the events and how the public responds to it.
