Palace shares update on King Charles key meeting after Harry's 'betrayal'

King Charles delivered a keynote speech at a crucial meeting after receiving alarming news about Prince Harry.

On September 17, the royal family's Instagram page released three photos of the monarch with tech giants and government officials from Dumfries House.

The King expressed deep concerns about the advancement of AI and urged the leaders to use AI for the betterment of society.

King Charles said, "I really am enormously grateful for the presence in this room of many of our greatest technological minds, and indeed, for the thoughtful stewardship demonstrated by those gathered here today as you consider the fundamental principles that should – and must – guide the development of Artificial Intelligence in the years ahead."

Palace's spokesperson shared that the monarch "convened AI pioneers, Government representatives and thought leaders to discuss how AI can be developed and deployed in ways that benefit society."

King Charles carried on with his day-to-day tasks in Scotland amid reports that Prince Harry was 'aware' of Charles Spencer's bombshell book about Princess Diana.

The monarch might see this as a betrayal after welcoming his youngest son and his family on July 10, 2026, at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire.
