Prince Harry revealed that they are slowly assimilating into their British lifestyle with work despite the events that have occurred in the weeks that they arrived back to UK.
The Duke of Sussex has already stepped out into the public but Meghan Markle has remained away from the limelight amid reports that it would be weeks before she makes an official outing. While the Duchess of Sussex has been out and about on errands, the grand entrance is still in the works.
The Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner & Awards on Thursday was a big opportunity, but Harry appeared solo during the important event. Sources have indicated that Meghan is taking it “incredibly slowly” keeping in mind how the British press had been with her last time.
“She hasn’t forgotten how brutal things became the last time she lived here,” a source close to the Duchess told Rob Shuter. “Before she steps in front of British cameras again, she needs to feel completely comfortable being back.”
They continued, “Her first appearance will be photographed, dissected and debated around the world.”
Meghan “knows the stakes and isn’t rushing anything” as she will get only one comeback. She has no plan to waste the opportunity so she is waiting for the perfect time.
“She’d rather step out when the Sussexes have something important to announce or promote,” they said
“Meghan knows exactly how much attention that first appearance will generate,” adding that she’s “going to make it count”.
