Vicky Pattison has shared the latest health update on her sister, who was diagnosed with cancer.
It comes after the Geordie Shore star's sister shared the devastating news earlier this month that she did not know if she would live as the disease had spread.
Laura also revealed that she remained hopeful as she waited for her latest test results.
But now, Vicky – who has been helping to fundraise for cancer charity CoppaFeel! – has heartbreakingly revealed that Laura is still having scans and biopsies as she shared how deeply important this campaign is to her.
Opening up about her sister's diagnosis for the first time, she told the Daily Mail: 'I have been very fortunate in a lot of ways.
'This year, however, my sister, Laura, has been going through with her own cancer journey. She's had uterine cancer and to hear at 34 that you have to have a full hysterectomy...'
Vicky, who has been with the charity for over ten years, added that she 'found it extra emotional and extra difficult this year' taking part in their latest fundraising event.
She also praised her sister for being so 'resilient and strong and brave, and stoic' throughout and being the best mother to her six-year-old daughter Mavie.
The reality star went on to say that despite her sibling having to undergo the heartbreak of having a hysterectomy, she has still been her biggest cheerleader when it comes to baby planning.
