William, Harry joint response to Charles Spencer bombshell: 'Painful'

Prince William and Prince Harry are united in their efforts to protect the legacy of their mother, Princess Diana, especially in light of Charles Spencer's book release.

Diana's brother has been in the headlines since the announcement of his bombshell Swan Song: Diana, my Sister. Not only that, the first preview of the book put King Charles in quite a tough spot, forcing the Palace to issue a statement about the allegations.

Spencer claimed that Charles reacted like he 'won a lottery' over the death news of Princess Diana, among many other revelations.

Now, speaking of the Prince of Wales and Duke of Sussex's possible reaction to their uncle's bold move, Katie Nicholl believes that the brothers are not feeling good about the latest development. 

According to Hello! Magazine, the royal author said, "It’s hard to know how they're feeling because ultimately, [Earl Spencer’s book bombshell is happening…] at a moment in time nearly 30 years on, when they want their mother's memory laid to rest, they want her legacy honoured, and continued in their charity work…

"To have it overshadowed with arguments, fallouts, rifts… that are now resurfacing three decades on, can surely not be what any of them want."

Despite the same joint response over the book release, Katie shared that there are still no chances of reconciliation between the two estranged brothers, as past pain is still alive.
