King Charles steals spotlight with surprise appearance amid Diana book release

As attention continues to swirl around Charles Spencer's book and the revelations surrounding the royal family and Princess Diana, King Charles has appeared publicly in Scotland, turning the focus back to his royal duties.

The monarch visited Peterhead Port in Aberdeen on Tuesday, where he met members of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) and organisations working across the region’s energy sector.

In the photo shared by @Sarahinroyal on social media, Charles appears focused on the communities and causes at the heart of his visit.

Dressed in a traditional Scottish kilt, he was all smiles and in high spirits, seemingly turning a deaf ear to news Charles Spencer's Diana book release.   

While the family controversy continues to attract headlines, the King’s public engagements offer a different picture.

He prefers nothing more than his duty, tradition. His continued focus on his role as monarch inspires Britons.
