Prince Harry gets big no from Diana's pals, family amid documentary talks

Prince Harry suffered a big blow as some of the closest people who knew his mother, Princess Diana, chose to remain quiet amid documentary talks.

According to reports, the Duke of Sussex has begun approaching Diana's pals and family to contribute to his upcoming project. However, the power of the Palace comes in between.

Rob Shutter claimed that Diana’s two sisters, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes, are also among those who are avoiding creating further controversy by appearing in any film.

"Diana’s own sisters saying no sends an enormous message. Nobody has to threaten anyone. People understand the consequences: help Harry tell his version of Diana’s story and the palace door could slam shut," the source said.

The old friend of Diana also wants to remain in the good books of King Charles and the extended royal family.

An insider added, Nobody wants to choose between Diana’s sons. But appearing in Harry’s film will be viewed as choosing a side — and people are terrified of what that could cost them."

On the other hand, Prince William, who, according to the claims, is completely opposing Harry's idea of documenting their mother as a tribute.

"William’s position is simple: Diana was his mother too. Harry doesn’t own her story, and William isn’t going to quietly watch everyone else define it for him," the source said.
