Princess Kate reunites with companions at Windsor Castle reception

Princess Catherine welcomed fellow Three Peaks Challenge participants and their families to Windsor Castle on the 15th.
Some of those attending had taken part in the challenge alongside the Princess, giving her the opportunity to reconnect with people she had met during the demanding trek.
Sharing a message after the reception, Kate said: “It was a pleasure to welcome other participants and their families to Windsor Castle.
Behind each peak was a personal story of resilience, determination, and hope.
“Hearing their experiences of the challenge and the reasons that led them to take it on was a powerful reminder that recovery is rarely a journey we make alone, and of the importance of the people who walk alongside us on that path.”
Albie-Junior Thomas made history at just nine years old when he became the youngest amputee to complete the UK's National Three Peaks Challenge.
The young adventurer was also the private tea party.
His father, Daniel, described as one he will never forget.
“As his dad, sitting there watching my boy next to the Princess was something I’ll never forget. I’m so proud of him and everything he’s experiencing at such a young age,” Daniel said.
