"The Celebrity Traitors" returns to BBC One and iPlayer tonight, Thursday, October 1, at 20:00 BST, with an extended 75-minute debut episode.

The series will air two nights a week (every Thursday and Friday) throughout October, with the spin-off show uncloaked following immediately after each episode.

The host Claudia Winkleman invites 21 celebrities to participate in the program "The Celebrity Traitors" in Ardross Castle in the Highlands of Scotland.

The cast features actors such as Michael Sheen, Richard E Grant, Bella Ramsey, Miranda Hart, and Julie Hesmondhalgh; television personalities like Maya Jama, Amol Rajan, and Ross Kemp; singer James Blunt; singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock; supermodel Jerry Hall; professor of mathematics Hannah Fry; internet personality King Kenny; and comedians Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan, James Acaster, Joe Lycett, and Joanne McNally.

The contestants play for up to £100,000 for their favourite charities. During the game, the host will designate several celebrities as "traitors" while the others have to find and "banish" them during the daily table discussions.

At night, the traitors gather in the tower of the castle to "murder" one faithful member. If some traitors stay until the end of the show, they become winners of the prize; otherwise, the faithful share the prize money among themselves.

The current season is a follow-up to the previous one of "The Celebrity Traitors", won by Alan Carr, the most-viewed program in the UK in 2025 with 15 million views.

Executive producer Sarah Fay said the team “always want to push the envelope” with elaborate tasks. Winkleman added she is “totally focused” on the contestants, joking that she refuses to leave the production room and gets barely any sleep.
