Sri Lanka bowl out Netherlands for lowest 39
CHITTAGONG: Sri Lankan bowlers demolished Netherlands batting dismissing them for the lowest ever score in Twenty20 cricket in a Group-1 day/night match of the Super Ten Series in the fifth World Twenty20 here at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Monday.

Sent into bat by Sri Lanka, Dutch batsmen could not resist against the accurate bowling and were bundled out for 39 in 10.3 overs.

The previous lowest total was 56 made by Kenya against Afghanistan in 2013.

Tom Cooper top scored with 16 as no other batsman could reach the double figures as four batsmen were dismissed for zero, including both the openers.

For Sri Lanka, off-spinner Ajantha Mendis and pacer Angelo Mathews captured three wickets apiece for 12 and 16, respectively while fast bowler Lasith Malinga took two for five.
