Misbah best choice as captain for World Cup 2015: Afridi

LAHORE: Pakistan’s star all-rounder Shahid Afridi on Tuesday said that Misbah ul Haq is the best choice for captaining the national cricket team in World Cup 2015.

According to a statement issued here, Shahid Afridi, best known for his aggressive cricket, said he supports Misbah ul Haq as captain and has no problem playing under his captaincy.

Afridi further added that he and Misbah both were aware of the fact that national cricket team’s captaincy is ‘not a bed of roses’. “I am always ready to serve Pakistan Cricket”, the all-rounder said.

In a tweet Shahid Afridi said 'Misbah is my captain' and requested media’s support for Misbah ul Haq.
