MUZAFFARABAD: The government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has initiated efforts to legalize the framework that would punish the culprits who are involved in acid throwing incidents, Geo News reported Saturday.
According to sources, the president of Azad Kashmir has approved life imprisonment and Rs1 million fine for the accused involved in acid throwing.
The ordinance would remain effective for three months until the legislation is passed.
