Mainly hot, dry weather likely during next 24 hours
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Wednesday forecast mainly hot and dry weather for most parts of the country during next 24 hours.

According to met analysis, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.

The weather is likely to remain dry in Punjab, federal capital, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan during next 24 hours.

In Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, mainly dry weather is expected in most parts during next 24 hours, however isolated rain/thunderstorm may occur at a few places tonight.

The maximum temperatures recorded during last 24 hours were Islamabad 34 C, Lahore 39 C, Quetta 29 C, Karachi 37 C, Peshawar 33 C, Muzaffarabad 31 C, Gilgit 32 C, Murree 23 C, Multan 37 C and Faisalabad 34xC. The highest maximum temperature was recorded at Mitthi and Chhor 42 xC.

The Pollen count of paper mulberry recorded on Wednesday in Sector H-8 was per 10,294 cubic meter in the air.
