GHOTKI: Police have arrested an Afghan couple for failing to produce traveling documents, Geo News reported late Sunday night.
Rangers’ police held the suspicious woman and her male companion on board a passenger bus at Sindh-Punjab Border checkpost in Obardo.
Both the husband and wife were not carrying any documents that could validate they were allowed to travel in Pakistan.
A case has been registered against them under the foreign act.
The couple is under custody in Obardo police station.
The held foreigners would be produced in the court of law on Monday.
