Pillion riding banned in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: The federal interior ministry has imposed Section 144 for two days in the capital city that bans pillion riding, Geo News reported Friday.

According to official sources, Section 144 has been imposed in the federal capital today that will remain effective till Saturday. The ban has also been imposed on carrying weapons in the city.

Police told Geo News that a man has been arrested in connection with spraying bullets on Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Sher Mohammad while attacking Tarnol police station on Friday, September 21.

The accused was apprehended after getting information from the already held persons during interrogation. The suspect has been transferred to undisclosed location for further inquiry, police told.
