Casting ballot in peaceful atmosphere voters’ right: Sethi

LAHORE: Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister, Najam Sethi Wednesday said casting ballot in a peaceful atmosphere is the right of voters and ordered the authorities to take an immediate action against violators of Code of Conduct issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

Presiding over a meeting in connection with law and order, Najam Sethi directed the administration not to spare any effort in providing security to the political gatherings and rallies.

He ordered strict and indiscriminate action against those who indulge in aerial firing and/or carry firearms in public.
